Description of Bright Mind

Bright Mind is the only daily formula Graymatter Labs makes. It is a flavored powder for cold water, sold in a scoop bag in Strawberry Lemon, Tangerine or Cacao. The bag holds 40 half servings of 4 g, or 20 full servings of 8 g. The store calls it a 30-day supply, which the panel does not support at either dose.

This is a caffeinated drink mix, not a treatment for fatigue, attention disorders, anxiety or any disease. A full serving carries around 75 mg of plant caffeine, three calories and no carbohydrates. Graymatter frames it as an alternative to coffee and to prescription stimulants, which is marketing language, not a label fact.

Composition of Bright Mind

The panel lists nine vitamins at disclosed amounts, then four blends whose totals are published while the ingredients inside them are not. At a full 8 g serving, vitamin C reaches 180 mg, vitamin D3 25 mcg, vitamin E 7.5 mg, B1 1.2 mg, B2 1.3 mg, B3 5 mg, B6 15 mg at 882% of the Daily Value, B12 750 mcg and B5 5 mg. The four blends follow.

  • Brain X, 1,855 mg: Nitrosigine inositol arginine silicate, L-tyrosine, Alpha GPC at 50%, phosphatidylserine powder at 20% and Huperzine A at 1% from Huperzia serrata
  • Go Blend, 1,340 mg: maca root, green tea extract standardized to 15% EGCG, organic Korean matcha, guarana standardized to 22% caffeine and natural caffeine from green tea
  • Flow Blend, 1,150 mg: red Panax ginseng at 7% ginsenosides, cordyceps extract, lion's mane extract, ashwagandha at 5% withanolides and rhodiola at 5% rosavins
  • VisionDefense, 25 mg: lutein, astaxanthin and marigold extract standardized to 5% zeaxanthin

Other ingredients are citric acid, natural flavors, malic acid, silica, ExBerry natural colors and thaumatin. The panel declares soy, carried by the phosphatidylserine. Because the blends are proprietary, the accessible product page does not disclose how 1,855 mg of Brain X splits across five actives, so no dose-by-dose comparison is possible.

Ingredient Sourcing and Origin of Raw Materials

Graymatter Labs is based in the United States and sells straight from its own store. The brand states that manufacturing follows current Good Manufacturing Practices and that every run is third-party tested by Eurofins. Five botanicals carry a standardization ratio on the panel, a stronger signal than a plain plant name: green tea to 15% EGCG, guarana to 22% caffeine, Panax ginseng to 7% ginsenosides, ashwagandha to 5% withanolides and rhodiola to 5% rosavins. The site does not publish a certificate of analysis, a country of origin for each botanical, or the beta-glucan content of the two mushroom extracts.

How to Take Bright Mind

Graymatter says to mix half a scoop or a full scoop into 10 to 12 oz of ice-cold water and shake thoroughly. It recommends one rest day each week and no more than three servings in 24 hours.

  • Start at the 4 g half scoop for a week to gauge tolerance to the caffeine
  • Drink it in the morning or at the start of an afternoon block, never close to bedtime
  • Count the 75 mg of caffeine alongside any coffee, tea or energy drink taken the same day
  • Check the total against any B-complex already in the routine, since one serving supplies 882% of the Daily Value for B6

Price and Where to Buy Bright Mind

A bag lists at $78.99 in US dollars, which works out at $3.95 per full serving or $1.97 per half serving. Our code SFDJTFMM takes 17% off and brings it to $65.56, or $3.28 per full serving. Two of the brand's own offers are larger: a Starter Kit at $39.50 on a first order, and a subscription at 35% off every delivery that lands at $51.34. The code wins on a one-time order, the subscription wins for a daily drinker. Orders leave the United States within one business day, with free carriage for subscriber members only. The bag is sold on the official Graymatter store.

My Take on Bright Mind

I find the intent easy to respect and the panel harder to defend. Nine vitamins are declared to the milligram and five extracts carry standardization ratios. Then four proprietary blends hide the amounts that would let me judge whether the Alpha GPC, the lion's mane or the ashwagandha reaches a researched dose.

At $78.99 I would want those numbers published. This suits someone who wants one drink instead of a shelf of bottles, who tolerates 75 mg of caffeine well and who will subscribe to reach a reasonable price. Anyone avoiding soy, pregnant or breastfeeding, taking medication for blood pressure, blood sugar, thyroid function or mood, or already running a high-dose B-complex, should clear it with a clinician first. My reserve is not the formula, it is the refusal to say how much of each ingredient is in it.
