APE Nutrition review: British nose to tail capsules for US buyers
APE Nutrition at a glance
APE Nutrition Limited is a British supplement company registered in England and Wales under number 11504167, with a registered office in Walton on Thames, Surrey. Josh and Izzi started it after a trip to India, launching with a ketogenic protein bar before moving into freeze dried organ capsules. The catalogue now spans beef liver and multi organ blends, beef protein, collagen, colostrum, bone products, oysters and two organic mushroom extracts. It is a nose to tail range built on food rather than isolated actives, which explains why its labels look nothing like a conventional multivitamin.
What does APE Nutrition sell?
The range is organised by the part of the animal rather than by a health goal, so a shopper picks an organ first and a benefit second.
- Organ capsules: Beef Organs, Beef Liver, Beef Spleen, Beef Brain, Bone Marrow, Digestive Organ Complex, Optimised Male and Optimised Female, all 180 capsules of 500 mg.
- Powders: Grass-Fed Beef Protein in three flavours, Collagen Powder and Colostrum.
- Bone and broth: Whole Bone Matrix capsules and a liquid Bone Broth concentrate.
- Marine and mushroom: Celtic Oysters, Organic Lion's Mane and Organic Cordyceps 10:1.
- Bundles: the Foundations Bundle and two starter packs, about 5 percent below the same items bought separately.
Beef Organs facts and price
Beef Organs is the flagship and the most reviewed capsule on the site. A jar holds 180 capsules of 500 mg, the serving is six a day for 3 g of powder, and it is sold as a 30 day supply. The blend is 50 percent liver, 25 percent heart and 25 percent kidney, freeze dried raw, in a bovine gelatine capsule with nothing added. It costs $53.99, converted from 39.99 GBP at 1.35 on September 22, 2026, or $1.80 a day before any card spread.
What the organic and grass fed claims mean
APE says its cattle are organic certified, 100 percent grass fed, hormone free and raised outdoors on regenerative farms. That much is consistent across every product page. The marketing is looser: the Beef Organs page carries a headline figure on customers reporting better energy, mood and hormone balance, Optimised Male talks about supporting testosterone production, and the protein page calls the powder non inflammatory. None of those are label facts, and our assessment rests only on the organ ratio, capsule weight and serving size.
Beef Protein and the wider range
Grass-Fed Beef Protein is the line with the most customer reviews. The unflavoured 1 kg bag is $74.24, converted from 54.99 GBP, and gives 50 servings of 20 g at 19.07 g of protein each from a single ingredient. Flavoured versions cost $80.99. Collagen Powder is 400 g of type I and III peptides at $40.49, Colostrum is 150 g at $60.74, and Celtic Oysters are 120 capsules of 300 mg from Irish waters at $60.74. Several items were out of stock when we checked.
Quality, sourcing and transparency
This is where APE is stronger than most brands of its size. Each capsule page links to dated third party certificates by batch, readable rather than decorative.
- Beef Organs: full suite for batch 0725, microbiology for batches 0825 and 1225, heavy metals for batch 0326.
- Beef Liver: full suite for batch 0726, microbiology and heavy metals for batch 1225, microbiology for batch 0326.
- Ingredient lists run to one line, the organ plus a bovine gelatine capsule, no fillers or sweeteners declared.
- Missing: micronutrient amounts per serving, so the vitamin A and iron load of the liver products is not published.
APE Nutrition promo code and price
The code is LEMEILLEURCOMPLEMENT and it takes 10 percent off. We ran it through the cart on September 22, 2026 on a Beef Organs order and it applied cleanly, cutting the line from $53.99 to $48.60. The detail that matters is that APE codes do not stack with anything, including the 10 percent Subscribe and Save option. Since the subscription price lands within a penny of the code price, a US buyer picks one or the other, never both.
US shipping and returns
The United States is selectable at checkout, sitting third in a list of 76 countries. Rest of world delivery is tracked at 15.00 to 20.00 GBP, and a New York postcode returned International Standard Tracked at $20.25. APE quotes 5 to 9 days and asks buyers to allow 10. Two caveats: duties are prepaid for European destinations only, so a US buyer covers import charges, and the published country list on the delivery page omits the United States even though the checkout accepts it. Returns run 30 days on unused, sealed items.
Our APE Nutrition verdict
APE suits a US shopper who already wants organ capsules and who values batch certificates, single ingredient labels and farm sourcing more than speed. It is a poor fit for anyone who needs delivery inside a week, wants dollar pricing, or is uneasy about a supplement whose active is a whole food with no quantified micronutrient panel. Anyone pregnant, already taking retinol, or avoiding bovine gelatine should read the liver labels closely first.
