EAFIT review: French sports nutrition for training and recovery
EAFIT is a French sports-nutrition brand created in 1991 and sold through pharmacies, specialty retailers, and its European online store. Its catalog is designed around common athletic goals such as protein intake, endurance fueling, hydration, muscle gain, weight management, and recovery. The broad selection can be convenient, although product choice should follow training demands and diet rather than marketing categories alone.
American shoppers should note that EAFIT operates primarily in France and Europe. Labels, permitted claims, serving instructions, flavors, and availability may differ from comparable US products.
What does EAFIT sell?
The main ranges include:
- Whey, whey isolate, casein, gainers, and protein bars
- Creatine, amino acids, pre-workout, and muscle-building formulas
- Carbohydrate drinks, gels, bars, electrolytes, and race-day foods
- Collagen, joint, recovery, and massage products
- Weight-management products and goal-based bundles
A bundle can duplicate caffeine, vitamins, minerals, creatine, or herbal ingredients. Endurance foods also serve a different purpose from daily supplements: their carbohydrate and sodium content should match the duration, intensity, climate, and individual tolerance of the session.
EAFIT Pure Whey
Pure Whey is the brand's flagship protein powder. The official catalog lists it at €24.90 for 360 g, €39.90 for 750 g, €44.99 for 850 g, €92.99 for 1.8 kg and €112.99 for 2.2 kg, and describes more than 30 grams of protein per prepared shake. Flavor-specific nutrition, serving size, sugars, sweeteners, and allergens should be confirmed on the container because formulas can vary.
Whey protein provides essential amino acids and can help people meet total protein needs. Muscle gain still depends on resistance training, sufficient energy, recovery, and an appropriate daily protein target. A larger scoop or multiple protein products do not create an automatic advantage once needs are met.
Milk allergy is different from lactose intolerance, and whey products are unsuitable for a true milk-protein allergy. Users managing kidney disease or another condition that affects protein intake need individualized medical advice.
Creatine and performance products
EAFIT also sells creatine monohydrate, a well-studied ingredient for repeated short, high-intensity exercise. A consistent daily intake is generally more important than complicated cycling. Initial water-weight gain can occur and should not be confused with immediate muscle growth.
Pre-workouts and fat-loss formulas require closer label review because caffeine and other stimulants may compound coffee, energy drinks, or medication. Evening dosing can disrupt sleep, which may undermine recovery more than the supplement helps training.
Anti-doping standard and quality
Selected EAFIT products state that they were developed and manufactured according to EN 17444 requirements at the time the batch was produced. This standard applies good practices intended to reduce the risk of prohibited substances. The brand's own disclaimer correctly notes that compliance does not guarantee absence and is not approval for an athlete subject to testing.
- Look for the standard statement on the exact product and current batch.
- Do not transfer certification from one EAFIT item to the whole catalog.
- Elite athletes should follow their governing body's supplement-risk process.
- Check allergens and ingredient totals across an entire stack.
Pharmacy distribution and a long operating history support traceability, but phrases such as pharmaceutical quality should not replace a batch document or finished-product test.
How to choose and use EAFIT
Begin with the basic nutritional job. Protein powder can fill a protein gap; a carbohydrate drink can support long sessions; electrolytes can replace meaningful sweat losses. Follow the product-specific serving rather than applying one schedule to the whole brand.
Test race nutrition during training, not for the first time during competition. Introduce one new formula at a time so digestive or sleep effects are identifiable. Supplements cannot correct an unsuitable training load, dehydration, insufficient calories, or poor recovery.
EAFIT price and promo code
Pure Whey starts at €24.90 for the 360 g tub and runs to €112.99 for 2.2 kg. Code LMC20 takes 20% off eligible orders, so the 360 g tub falls to about €19.92. It may not stack with bundles or another promotion.
Shipping and US availability
The official store advertises free Colissimo delivery from €49 within metropolitan France, with delivery 72 hours after the order is entered. Article 8.2 of the terms of sale lists the United States among the destinations served by the e-commerce site, alongside Canada, the United Kingdom and most of the European Union; shipping cost is calculated at checkout and free-shipping offers apply to metropolitan France only. Prices are in euros throughout, including on the English storefront.
Our verdict
EAFIT offers a mature, extensive catalog and useful product-specific labeling for European athletes. Pure Whey, creatine, and endurance products can each serve a clear nutritional purpose. The limitations are catalog complexity, inconsistent relevance of broad performance claims, and uncertain direct access for US shoppers.
