Greco Gum is an American company, registered as Greco Gum Limited Partnership at 1522 Penman Road, Jacksonville Beach, Florida. Three friends, Nick Brisson, Jon Persson and Logan Wright, started it in 2021 to sell one raw material: mastic resin from the Greek island of Chios. In 2024 the team moved its operating base to Chios itself, while orders still ship from the United States. The catalogue is deliberately narrow, five products built from the same ingredient, and that focus is the most useful thing to know before you compare it with a multi ingredient supplement brand.

Mastic gum nuggets facts and price

The flagship is the 45 g Klassiko tin of nuggets, rated by the brand at roughly 45 days of daily chewing and priced at $45.98 for a one time order. That is about $1.02 a day, or $0.92 with our code. The 15 g Mikro tin costs $28.98 and lasts around 15 days, so it is the more expensive way to buy by weight. The ingredient list is the resin and nothing else: no base, no sweetener, no flavouring. The marketing is louder than the tin, which carries none of the digestive or oral claims made on the site.

What the laboratory certificate actually shows

Greco Gum publishes a certificate of analysis from RL Labs dated 8 September 2025, run with ICP-MS, HPTLC and USP methods. Arsenic, cadmium and mercury came back below the limit of detection, lead below the limit of quantification. Plate count, yeast and mould and Enterobacteriaceae were all under 10 cfu/g, with E. coli, Salmonella and Staphylococcus aureus not detected. HPTLC confirmed the botanical identity as Pistacia lentiscus. One gap: product pages carry a badge reading verified May 2026 or June 2026, a later date than the certificate on offer.

Droplets, capsules and the wider range

Droplets are the same resin cut small and hard, $41.98 for 45 g and $24.98 for 15 g, and they carry more reviews than the nuggets on the brand's own counter. The capsules hold 500 mg of ground, freeze dried resin each and cost $36.98 for 60, which covers 30 to 60 days depending on whether you take one capsule or two. Both bundles carry a standing 25 per cent discount on site, $41.22 for the Starter Pack and $62.22 for the Gut Health Protocol.

Quality, sourcing and transparency

Sourcing is the strongest part of the file, and it matters here because counterfeit mastic is a known problem in this market.

• Third party certificate naming the laboratory, the date and the methods used

The certification wording is not consistent, though. Product pages say GMP and NSF certified facilities while the About page says FDA certified, which is not the same claim.

Skip it if you need a broad supplement range, or if you have crowns, fillings, braces or jaw joint trouble, because raw mastic is hard and the brand disclaims dental liability in its own footer. The capsules are the sensible format in that case.
