Junelab review: French pharmacist-developed supplements
Junelab, also known as June Laboratoire, is a French supplement brand created from the founders' experience in community pharmacy. Its catalog combines simple single-nutrient products with more complex formulas for skin, joints, hair, sleep, digestion, libido, concentration, stress, and weight management.
The English storefront displays US dollar prices and a United States market selector, which makes the range easier to browse for American readers. However, Junelab's published shipping policy currently names only metropolitan France, Switzerland, and Belgium. Dollar pricing should therefore not be confused with confirmed US delivery.
What does Junelab sell?
The current range includes:
- Type I and type II hydrolyzed marine collagen formulas
- Hyaluronic acid, biotin, selenium, magnesium, zinc, and omega-3
- Hair, blemish, libido, sleep, and concentration formulas
- A multi-ingredient Slimming formula
- Bundles and an online product-selection questionnaire
Some products use one principal nutrient, while others combine plants, probiotics, minerals, and marine ingredients. Customers should compare the Supplement Facts equivalent, allergens, daily serving, package duration, and interaction risk rather than choosing only by a concern label.
The Junelab flagship powders
The two flagship powders are Travailler, a concentration formula at $36.00 providing 3 g of chaga, 2.7 g of lion's mane, 2 g of cordyceps, 1.8 g of reishi and 0.5 g of vitamin C per serving, and Soulager, a joint formula at $36.00 providing 6.3 g of type I marine collagen, 2 g of type II, 1 g of glucosamine, 0.2 g of chondroitin and 0.5 g of vitamin C. The Slimming formula starts from $34.00, with green tea, grape marc, fucus, linoleic acid, chromium and Lactobacillus gasseri; its single pack was sold out at the time of writing. The single-nutrient capsules sit at $24.00 a pack, and the cheapest items in the store start at $18.00.
This is a multi-ingredient supplement, not a replacement for a calorie-appropriate diet, activity, sleep, medical assessment, or evidence-based obesity care. Weight change cannot be guaranteed, and short-term scale movement does not prove fat loss.
Ingredient and interaction context
Green tea can contribute caffeine unless the extract is specifically decaffeinated and labeled with a measured amount. Fucus is a seaweed source that may contribute iodine, while chromium can matter for people using diabetes medication. Grape compounds, probiotics, and linoleic-acid ingredients also require exact dose and form information.
- Check caffeine and avoid stacking stimulant products.
- Review iodine exposure with thyroid conditions or medication.
- Confirm marine, fish, soy, or other allergens across the range.
- Do not use pregnancy, nursing, or medication status as an afterthought.
A pharmacist-founded brand still requires product-specific evidence. The expertise of founders or retailer endorsements cannot replace a complete label, contaminant testing, stability data, and studies on the exact formulation.
Collagen and iconic products
Junelab also sells hydrolyzed marine collagen, including formulas with hyaluronic acid, biotin, vitamin C, glucosamine, and chondroitin. The company advertises collagen hydrolyzed to 500 daltons. Molecular-weight descriptions can help characterize processing, but they do not guarantee visible skin or joint outcomes.
Marine collagen is not vegan and may be unsuitable for fish-allergic users. Products containing biotin can interfere with some laboratory tests, so patients should tell clinicians and laboratories about supplementation before blood work.
Brand claims and transparency
Junelab reports that its products were created by French pharmacists, use 95% ingredients of natural origin, have reached more than 45,000 orders, and are approved or supported by over 1,500 pharmacists. These are brand-reported commercial figures, not independent proof that each formula is effective.
The online diagnostic can organize product choices, but it is not a medical diagnosis. Persistent fatigue, unexplained hair loss, joint pain, thyroid symptoms, or significant weight change deserves appropriate clinical evaluation.
Junelab price and promo code
The English storefront lists Travailler and Soulager at $36.00 each, and its single-nutrient capsules at $24.00. Code LMC15 takes 15% off an eligible order, giving about $30.60 on either flagship powder before delivery or tax. Multi-pack reductions of 17% to 25% can be larger and may not combine with the code.
Shipping and returns
Junelab states that stock is held in Réau, France, orders are prepared and shipped quickly, delivery generally takes two to four days, and catalog shipping is free. Its policy explicitly lists metropolitan France, Switzerland, and Belgium. It does not currently confirm the United States.
American shoppers should contact the company before ordering despite the US dollar selector. They need confirmation of product eligibility, carrier, duties, import rules, delivery time, and return address. European customers should also read opened-product and hygiene exclusions before purchase.
Our verdict
Junelab offers a broad, navigable range, pharmacist-led formulation, dollar display, and detailed ingredient-led product names. Its main weakness for a US audience is the mismatch between an American market selector and a shipping policy limited to three European destinations. The products deserve formula-by-formula review, especially where caffeine, iodine, allergens, biotin, or multiple active ingredients are involved.
